The 2013 Costal Living Showhouse located on Daniel Island, S.C. is a true coastal retreat. Combining a traditional Lowcountry cottage with modern touches, the home is comfortable and inviting. Relaxed living is encouraged with expansive front and rear porches, a paved patio with fire pit, and large windows to allow the light and beautiful views to penetrate the interior.
Max Crosby Construction is the only builder in the country ever selected for both the Coastal Living Showhouse and the Southern Living Idea House.

Southern Living Custom Builder - 1994 to Present
In 1994, Max Crosby Construction was selected to be part of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program and has continued with the program since.
Each year, Southern Living carefully selects members based on their reputation among local businesses and consumers; strength of presence in their respective markets; superior quality and attention to detail; innovative style, and other criteria. Builders are required to reapply each year and are evaluated by Southern Living to assure they have met their standards.

Southern Living Idea House Builder - 2006
Located on Daniel Island, S.C. the 2006 Smythe Park Idea House is a classic and timeless project that embraces Southern architecture.
Features of the home include stately columns and Flemish bond brickwork. Gas lanterns elegantly light the portico and veranda spaces, while the rear courtyard provides yet another outdoor living area. Wood planks and exposed beams on the interior ceilings and pine floors featuring a hand-painted medallion accent in the foyer showcase the craftsmanship that has become a trademark of the Max Crosby style.
